Facilities and Equipment List

The OHRI is a multi-sited research facility located at the Civic, General, and Riverside Campuses of The Ottawa Hospital. Our 160,000 square feet of dedicated basic and clinical research facilities accommodate state-of-the-art space and equipment, including imaging facilities, transgenics facilities, flow cytometry laboratories, the region's only in-vitro fertilization laboratory, experimental surgical suites, laboratory services, office and meeting rooms, and several research libraries.

Some OHRI facilities provide services such as DNA sequencing, Affymetrix GeneChip array processing, and flow cytometry to both OHRI and non-OHRI researchers. Many of these services are provided by StemCore, located in the Sprott Centre for Stem Cell Research at the General Campus.
