How to Help
In addition to funding support from the OHRI and the nephrologists at The Ottawa Hospital, KRC studies are made possible by peer-reviewed grant funds from national health care agencies (including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada), the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Canada Foundation for Innovation. In addition, a group of dedicated and motivated individuals, including grateful patients, organizes fundraising events for the KRC, with support from The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. The KRC also receives funding support from corporate sponsors.
To support the KRC:- Come out to the Ron Kolbus Memorial Charity Golf Tournament held in September of every year.
- Come out to the Annual KRC Golf Tournament held in June of every year.

Donations for the KRC can be made via The Ottawa Hospital Foundation and charitable receipts will be provided.
