Ontario invests in OHRI-affiliated start-up company eSight
September 9, 2009
Ontario Minister of Research and Innovation John Milloy and Ottawa Centre MPP Yasir Naqvi were at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) on September 9th to announce $500,000 in funding for OHRI-affiliated start-up company eSight. eSight is developing high tech glasses that use cameras and sophisticated software to help correct vision loss associated with conditions such as macular degeneration. OHRI / uOttawa scientist Dr. Réjean Munger is the Chief Scientific Officer of eSight.
