Prestigious honour for kidney research

Dr. Kevin Burns has been awarded the Kidney Foundation of Canada’s 2010 Medal for Research Excellence for his exceptional work in translating kidney research into clinical practice and training the next generation of kidney researchers. See

Dr. Burns is a Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (Chronic Disease Program), Professor at the University of Ottawa (Faculty of Medicine), Nephrologist at The Ottawa Hospital and Director of the Kidney Research Centre.
