How to help
The PRC was officially launched in October 2004, with leadership gifts from the Parkinson Society Ottawa ($100,000) and the Ottawa Kiwanis Medical Foundation ($50,000). The PRC is striving to raise a minimum of $900,000 in funding to provide the initial support for new Parkinson's research. Parkinson's researchers at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute are also supported by The Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
