What We Do

Our lab is developing novel stem and progenitor cell-based gene therapies for use in early phase human trials. Clinically applicable cell therapies are developed in a dedicated Good Manufacturing Practice facility and tested for safety, identity, and potential therapeutic efficacy. In addition we use both in vitro and in vivo models to explore the biological mechanisms of disease progression in vascular and pulmonary diseases.
