
Dominique Kane: Dominique is the study coordinator
for the FAST study. With a background in nursing and biochemistry,
Dominique brings a number of skills and strengths to the group.
This study is the largest protocol OMNI has implemented with
a target of 3000 pregnant women over 2 years.
Diane Gorley: As the administrative assistant
Diane is invaluable to Mark and Shi Wu and is the communications
line to the OMNI group. She maintains the general well being
of all!
Wen Liang Zeng: With a background in pharmacy,
Wen Liang has both administrative and research responsibilities
within the group.
Yan Chen: Data-analysis is Yan's strength as
she works primarily with the large drug database projects.
Laura Payant: Laura is a part-time research
coordinator. She combines this work with her responsibilities
as a Labour & Delivery nurse while completing her Master's
Degree in Nursing.
Huimin Li: Huimin comes to OMNI with a Master's
degree in Economics and is continuing her education in perinatal
epidemiology.
OMNI Research Nurse Group: We are proud of
our four Registered Nurses who are an integral part of our team.
They are familiar with all aspects of the studies currently in
progress. Their responsibilities include:
- Implementation of the study protocols
- Identify prospective subjects
- Providing education regarding the study to prospective subjects
and obtaining informed consent
- Completing proper medical documentation of research activities
and maintaining research subject records
- Act as a liaison for the OMNI Research Group and the physicians
and lay persons within the hospital and community
These nurses are: Mary Gannon, Kuy Ngo, Lucy Chura and
Dominique Bleskie.
