OHRI Facilities & Equipment
The OHRI is a multi-sited research facility located at the Civic, General, and Riverside Campuses of The Ottawa Hospital. Our 160,000 square feet of dedicated basic and clinical research facilities accommodate state-of-the-art space and equipment, including imaging facilities, transgenics facilities, flow cytometry laboratories, the region's only in-vitro fertilization laboratory, experimental surgical suites, laboratory services, office and meeting rooms, and several research libraries.
Some OHRI facilities provide services such as DNA sequencing, mass spectrometry and flow cytometry to non-OHRI researchers. Many of these services are provided by the Ontario Genomic Innovation Centre. The facilities listed here offer a good idea of what is available but do not form a comprehensive list.
