Xiaodan Li
Board Member
Xiaodan has worked in the financial services industry for over nine years, with experience spanning both retail and private wealth management. She is currently an Associate Portfolio Manager at RBC PH&N Investment Counsel where she works with high-net-worth families and not-for-profit organizations on long-term investment strategy and wealth planning. She began her career in retail banking, supporting personal and business clients with a range of needs – including investments, lending, mortgages, and day-to-day banking. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MBA from Carleton University.
She lives in Ottawa with her husband Matthew, their young daughter, Amelia, and their golden retriever, Cera.
Q: Why do you volunteer on the Board of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute?
A: I’m honored to volunteer on the board of Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. I care deeply about supporting families, improving patient care, and building a better future for the generations after us. OHRI’s research doesn’t just stay in the lab – it reaches real people, where and when it matters most. I’m proud to support the important work they do.
