Neurocognitive Testing Service

The Neurocognitive Testing Service (NCTS) is Transformational Platform supported by the University of Ottawa Brain-Heart Interconnectome (BHI).

BHI Transformational Platforms

The NCTS supports researchers in including cognitive and mental health outcomes into their research studies given their impact on quality of life. This service meets a need in that dedicated neuropsychological expertise is not currently available for our research community outside of clinical practice. The NCTS supports research across multiple disciplines and topic areas.

Services provided include:
- Education & training on cognitive outcomes
- Planning & support at all research stages
- Test selection & procedural support
- Neuropsychological & cognitive assessments for research
- Data management, analysis, and test interpretation
- Knowledge dissemination

The NCTS operates on a fee-for-service basis for non-BHI studies, with a free initial consultation.  Fees charged for the service will depend on the nature of the research study and the services required.
