Join the Ontario Institute for Regenerative Medicine (OIRM) and Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) to learn how we are working together to build the ecosystem of regenerative medicine in Ontario. 

 We encourage trainees, PI’s and clinical researchers to attend this event to learn more about the resources and support our organizations provide to advance stem cells and regenerative medicine research. We hope to further engage with your community and build connections to benefit your research and enchanted Ontario’s excellence in this area.

 Jodi Garner, Senior Manager of Operations and Science will introduce you to our network, the OIRM grant programs, workshops, training programs and resources we are building to support both discovery level science and clinical translation. OIRM is a convergent partnership created between researchers, clinicians, industry and the public to foster discovery and deliver of innovative products and services, making Ontario a global leader in the development of stem cell-based products and therapies.

Mira Puri, Manager of Research Partnerships will provide an introduction on building the commercialization market of regenerative medicine and how CCRM can support the advancement of technologies and therapies. Mira will outline the services provided by CCRM, including technology assessments, market research, intellectual property protection and regulatory affairs support as well as the guidance CCRM can provide to OIRM members for clinical and commercial translation of their research.
