Brain Health Awareness Week: October 15-19

Brain scanResearchers, clinicians, patients and members of the general public are invited to take part in Brain Health Awareness Week from October 5-19, hosted by the University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute, in collaboration with The Ottawa Hospital and other partners.

Activities will include public lectures on topics such as spinal cord and brain regeneration, neuromuscular disease and ALS, decoding brain circuits, predicting Parkinson’s disease and caring for the aging brain.

A number of researchers and clinicians affiliated with The Ottawa Hospital will be speaking, including Drs. Eve Tsai, Michael Hildebrand, Robin Parks, Jodi Warman Chardon, Michael Rudnicki, Ari Breiner and Michael Schlossmacher.
