Sneak peek at upcoming oncolytic virus trial

January 29, 2014

Dr. John Bell was interviewed in Biotechnology Focus magazine about his work in developing oncolytic viruses for the treatment of cancer, including a world-first clinical trial with a virus called Maraba. The trial, which will be led by Dr. Derek Jonker, will evaluate Maraba in combination with a novel anti-cancer vaccine. It is expected to start later this year. This project is a collaboration with CHEO, McMaster and the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.
