Dr. Marjorie Brand among first named to the College of the Royal Society of Canada

Dr. Marjorie Brand is one of 91 inaugural members of the Royal Society of Canada's College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. It is a multidisciplinary group made up of "the emerging generation of Canadian intellectual leadership." The members of the College will "address issues of particular concern to new scholars, artists and scientists, for the advancement of understanding and the benefit of society, taking advantage of the interdisciplinary approaches fostered by the establishment of the College." See news release. Earlier this month, Dr. Duncan Stewart was named a new Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
