Tender Loving Research helping patients avoid kidney failure

March 11, 2015

The latest edition of our Tender Loving Research video blog features Dr. Dylan Burger explaining what motivates him to find ways to detect kidney disease very early in its progression. He wants to do this to keep the disease at bay, saving people from having to endure kidney failure, dialysis or a transplant. Dr. Burger is a scientist in the Chronic Disease Program of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa.
