Tender Loving Research saving lives of people with cardiac arrest

April 1, 2015

The latest edition of our Tender Loving Research video blog features Dr. Christian Vaillancourt explaining how good it feels to be able to save lives in the emergency department and do research that is improving care for patients in Ottawa and around the world. Dr. Vaillancourt works closely with paramedics, firefighters, 911 operators and bystanders to conduct research aimed and improving prehospital treatment for cardiac arrest. He also works with nurses and respiratory therapists to enhance the response to cardiac arrests at The Ottawa Hospital. The Ottawa Hospital Foundation’s Tender Loving Research Campaign aims to raise $50M for research at The Ottawa Hospital over the next three years.
