Dr. Phil Wells“Vein blood clots are very common and life-threatening, so the diagnosis is scary for patients. I’m proud our research findings are used around the world to quickly diagnose and treat this condition.”-Dr. Philip Wells, Senior Scientist and Chief/Chair of the Department of Medicine at The Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa.Dr. Philip Wells has received a major honour recognizing his outstanding contributions to advancing care in blood and blood vessel sciences both in Canada and around the world.
