Major grant from Canadian Cancer Society supports Ottawa research on cancer surgery

Dr. Rebecca Auer
has been awarded a grant worth $200,000 from the Canadian Cancer Society to investigate whether oncolytic viruses given around the time of cancer surgery can stimulate the immune system into attacking any remaining cancer cells and thus prevent cancer from coming back. See
