Reproductive health researchers from Canada, China to sign agreement

Researchers from Canada and China will sign a memorandum of understanding to work together to increase the current understanding on reproductive processes in order to improve the reproductive health of both men and women worldwide. The signing is a part of the Sino-Canada Bilateral Workshop on Reproductive Health Research, hosted by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Ottawa, the Ottawa Hospital and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

The workshop involves delegates from 14 Chinese institutions, 10 Canadian institutions and representatives from the industry and government sectors. It brings Canadian and Chinese scientists together to discuss common interests in the area of reproductive health and to establish joint research projects.
