Research Interests

Brief Biography

Louis Goudreau received a bachelor degree in electronic and telecommunication engineering from the University of Sherbrooke and has over 35 years experience in rehabilitation engineering. Following work in industry, Mr. Goudreau pursued his career in the medical field at the Atomic Energy of Canada, where he developed cancer treatment equipment. Subsequently, he moved to The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Center as a computer engineer, where he developed an EMG data acquisition and Gait Analysis system. Presently, as a Clinical Engineer, Louis Goudreau is responsible for electrical and mechanical engineering design or adaptation of medical devices for patients, health care providers, and research.
