July 15, 2015

Dr. Barbara Vanderhyden has received the Excellence in Education Prize for 2014-2015 from the University of Ottawa. The prize recognizes professors for outstanding teaching and a solid research program. Decisions are based on student evaluations, creativity and the development of innovative teaching content, awards for research, publications, and national and international recognition in a particular field of study. The prize is awarded annually to a handful of regular professors from various faculties. Each recipient receives $10,000 to research innovative teaching practices.
