Biographical Sketch
Dr. Lisa Calder is an Associate Scientist with the Emergency Medicine Research Group at the Clinical Epidemiology Unit of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. She completed her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario, her Royal College residency in emergency medicine and Masters of Science in Epidemiology at the University of Ottawa. Her previous research has included work on clinical practice guidelines, blood transfusions and traumatic corneal abrasions. The focus of her current research program is patient safety including adverse events in the emergency department.
