Research

Dr. Qiuying Yang is a Perinatal Epidemiologist. Her research interests are health services research, clinical studies and population health. Since 2004, Dr. Yang has been working with Drs. Mark Walker and Shi Wu Wen in the OMNI (Obstetrics and Maternal Newborn Investigations) research group. OMNI is one of the main themes of research in the clinical epidemiology program.

Dr. Yang has performed numerous clinical and epidemiologic studies and has an expertise in using administrative data. Her previous works include: antidepressants and adverse pregnancy outcomes, determinants of preeclampsia and other adverse pregnancy outcomes, optimal gestational age and optimal delivery interval on twin pregnancy, air pollution and adverse health outcomes.
